Family ownership

Best holiday parks to buy a static caravan for families

For families, the park itself matters almost as much as the caravan. Pools, beaches, activities and food on site can make ownership genuinely useful, but only if you will use them often enough to justify the annual fee.

Paying resort-level fees for facilities nobody in your family uses is a surprisingly expensive way to ignore a swimming pool.

What matters

What we would compare before viewing

  • Which facilities are included for owners and which cost extra
  • What stays open outside the school summer holidays
  • How busy the park feels during peak weeks
  • Whether the journey is realistic for frequent weekends
  • The exact pitch fee, not just the caravan price

Own & Roam view

Shortlist first, buy later

A family park should make weekends easier, not turn every visit into a negotiation about what is open and what costs extra.

Calculate ownership costs

Prices and park information are research snapshots and can change. Check the operator's current terms for the exact caravan and pitch before travelling or paying a deposit.
